Less work, more Lurk

I must admit: I’ve always loved life’s quirkier side; the daily oddities that stop you in your tracks and have you questioning reality. Those people, places, circumstances or things that add the spice to a normally mundane, daily routine. That simple bus commute turns into a mini-vacation; the supermarket a semi-adventure. It’s the little things that count but we’re too wrapped up in the “big-picture” to notice the small details that make us smile or laugh. Growing up, I guess I never missed the details and, thus, I’ve been able to capture things my friends would otherwise miss or brush aside. They deemed me the “lurker.”  No, No, this does not mean that I snap photos up girl’s skirts or that I stand outside your window while you make-out with your significant other. It simply means that I enjoy capturing that which you normally wouldn’t “see.” In an instant I notice something, grab my camera, and voila, you’re laughing (hopefully).  I guess you can say I’ve come to realize what’s normal for one individual is completely absurd to another. I’ve started questioning my surroundings:  What is normal? And, I think you will too; this is a celebration of people, places and things. We definitely don’t have to understand to appreciate; what’s funny to one person is normal to the next and vice versa. This is a site for all to enjoy. By no way, shape or form do I intend to harm or hurt anyone. It’s just a place to question reality.
